Road Map:

Bestpass is looking for an event marketing manager to join our team to help us grow our event strategies. In this position, you must have a passion for planning, executing, and managing third-party industry events, first-party networking events, and virtual webinars that engage attendees.  

What Your Ride Will Look Like:

  • You will lead the strategy for events, sourcing new events, and selecting industry events that align with our marketing and sales strategies. Manage the event marketing strategy and logistics, including coordinating with venues, tradeshow partners, vendors, employees, and marketing teams. 
  • Coordinate the shipping and logistics of marketing assets, swag, and booth materials ensuring timely arrival and departure of show materials, including troubleshooting of shipping materials when items are delayed. Assist in event attendee registration, planning, and travel.  
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling topics and content for roundtables, booth messaging, keynote speakers, etc. 
  • Lead the development of a streamlined pre/post-show follow-up cadence that complements the success and ROI of each event driving attendance and engagement. 
  • Source and manage unique event swag, including the ordering and fulfillment process in coordination with our senior graphic designer. 
  • Manage the event lead/prospect list process by working hand in hand with sales and marketing to determine high-priority prospects. 
  • Develop a streamlined webinar strategy in collaboration with our demand marketing manager on the Zoom Webinar platform, that can be replicated across 10-12 webinars annually. 
  • Track and manage the annual event budget and related expenses. 
  • Develop streamlined reporting that tracks KPI metrics such as lead source, attendee, on-site meetings/engagement, booth leads, opportunities, and associated revenue. 

Show Off What You Have:

  • Minimum 4 years of marketing and event experience. 
  • Excellent collaboration skills. You will work closely with the marketing, sales, and customer success teams to set up successful events.  
  • Excellent project management and organization. Do you use project management tools currently? We use Wrike to track the progress of every project and coordinate our marketing team and events. Your ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines will be critical.  
  • Reporting. Experience with analytics and building out a trade show strategy. This role will report on its own campaigns and the performance.  
  • Strong leadership style and ability to prioritize and work under pressure to tight deadlines. 
  • Required to have knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, and a project management tool such as Wrike  
  • Travel required monthly during the fall and spring to attend trade shows. 
  • School graduate or equivalent; College degree preferred
