Social Media Manager

Material Security is looking for a Social Media Manager. You’ll be part of an early, fast growing marketing team. You’ll strategize and deliver our content for our social media posts, creating snackable, remixed content that is primed for each channel. You’ll have a significant impact in growing our audience and building brand awareness for the business.

Responsibilities

• Create scrappy and cool social content that helps educate the market and build brand awareness for Material
• Understand the ins and outs of each channel and create post content based on what’s most optimized - pulling from existing videos, blogs, third party content, etc
• Experiment with new channels where our target audience may live
• Work with other departments (e.g. Recruiting, Events, etc) on marketing campaigns to amplify our brand via social
• Measure and report on performance and make recommendations for optimization

What we're looking for

• You LOVE social media :)
• You have prior success in social media marketing and content, understanding how to uniquely approach content on each channel
• You have experience with video editing, remixing long-form content, and writing copy for social media
• You are able to plan and execute projects with multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and timelines
