Description
We are looking for an SEO Growth Consultant to support the growing practice of one of our clients, Compound Growth Marketing. They work with B2B companies and in recent years their SEO practice has grown significantly. The person in this role will be pushed to help some of the fastest growing companies in the world grow faster. Candidates who are goal oriented and analytical will excel this in role.
About Compound Growth Marketing:
Compound Growth Marketing works with high growth companies to help them stand-up demand generation strategies (SEO, SEM, paid acquisition), funnel automation/conversion, and marketing analytics. They are a fully remote team, but with roots in Boston. Over the past three years they've seen strong growth requiring the need to expand the team.
Job brief:
- This is an opportunity to drive client results - performing analysis, creating deliverables and supporting the client's strategy with your insights.
- You are a growth marketer first, and an SEO second - making recommendations that drive toward conversion and fit within the bigger picture of their client's business.
- You will be on a team - working alongside other consultants, strategists and analysts
- This role is fully remote. they would prefer someone willing to be available in our primary time zone (Eastern Time).
- You will help them improve client deliverables, and how they manage projects.

Requirements
Core Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and build relationships with clients
2. Create results for clients
3. Build repeatable processes that help clients get results
4. Help manage the profitability of our team & client delivery efforts
Success Metrics:
1. Client retention
2. MQLs / revenue driven for clients
Requirements:
- You have at least 1-2 years of in-house marketing experience
- You have marketing experience in SaaS and/or B2B
- You have at least 5 years of experience in the following platforms: Google Analytics & Google Search Console
- You have at least 5 years of experience in SEO
- You have experience growing qualified leads through SEO
Requirements (elaborated)
1. You know how SEO fits into a demand generation strategy
- You know the role that SEO plays in a broader B2B demand generation strategy. You know all of the SEO best practices, but more importantly, you know the ones that are worth prioritizing when KPIs are things like “Free Trials Started” or “Demos Requested”. You are able to speak the language of execution when working with freelancers, and strategy, when working with clients. You are able to audit a drop or increase in performance in Google Analytics & Google Search Console to determine the cause.
2. You enjoy working with clients
- This role will be client facing, this is something that you enjoy (explaining concepts, moving the conversation forward, and being great with people).
- Learning about new industries sounds exciting to you. You will regularly take on new clients and understanding their company, industry and customers is critical.
3. You're an expert with SEO diagnostic, analytics and competitive insight tools
- Familiarity and expertise with best of breed tool sets including Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, SEMRush, Clearscope, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
- You are comfortable learning new tools
4. You are comfortable setting big goals for yourself and the people you work with
5. You love to solve puzzles
- You're comfortable learning new things on the fly
- You aren't afraid to ask for help, but also enjoy trying to learn it on your own first.
