Parentaly's a female-founded startup focused on improving the parental leave experience for all parties. We provide a company-sponsored employee benefit that helps expecting parents plan for - and return from - parental leave; minimizing the stress and career disruption for the employee (particularly women) and helping mitigate the attrition risk and decreased productivity for the employer.
Our programs include pre-leave planning and return to work resources (think: templates, guides, checklists, modules, and best practices crowdsourced from hundreds of career-driven working parents) which are woven into 1:1 or group career coaching sessions. We're taking what is traditionally a very confusing / disruptive event and turning it into a competitive advantage - for working parents and their companies. Companies are continuing to increase their paid parental leave to attract and retain top talent; however, most do nothing to support these extended leave policies, other than deal with payroll. This means parental leave becomes an incredibly stressful, opaque and disruptive event for the business and the employees’ careers - often contributing to the career regression women commonly experience after having children. Most vendors in the space focus on health and parenting concerns in the workplace - we are the only company that focuses exclusively on the career impact of parental leave (pre/post partum).
